Delaney Armstrong joined Instar in 2026, where she is responsible for the management of portfolio companies and the analysis of investment opportunities, including financial modelling, valuation, due diligence and execution.
Previously, Delaney completed two work terms with Instar as an analyst and also gained experience through work placements with the Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) and CPS Capital. During her studies, Delaney served as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager of a student-run investment fund with the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance, where she oversaw approximately $600,000 in assets under management. She also served as Co-Head of the hEDGE Financial Services Conference for undergraduate students and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Accounting and Finance Student Association.
Delaney holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (Honours, Co-op) from the University of Waterloo.
