Dennis Freeman

Dennis Freeman is a seasoned executive with more than 40 years of commercial knowledge and expertise advising on or supporting mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions predominantly in the alternative asset space in North America and internationally.
A partner at KPMG LLP from 1983 until his retirement in 2011, Dennis held a number of senior management roles within the firm in Canada and globally, including establishing, developing and leading its transaction services practice in Canada. Following his retirement from KPMG, Dennis serves on the board for a number of private companies in the alternative asset space, both in the role of board member and chair.
Dennis is highly experienced in the area of corporate governance, currently serving as chair for several audit and risk committees.
